LinkedIn Job Analytics Report

Unlike posting job openings on major job search websites, such as Craigslist, CareerBuilder, Monster and Indeed, LinkedIn's job boards do a great job of automatically filtering out unqualified candidates. Instead of job postings being visible to just anyone, they are automatically matched with targeted members. LinkedIn Jobs also gives employers access to real-time analytics and applicant profiles and connections.

Challenge

Make the data more useful

The current Jobs Analytics Report page did not allow users to easily view and digest the summary of their job postings. This lead to a lack of trust and interest in the report which hindered the overall value prop. Research and analytics of this page showed minimal usage from all users.

Solution

Deliver value through data

Create a new analytics report page that allow the users to quickly scan the data and interpret the insights produced. The new report would allow the user to see how their jobs are performing, compare their jobs to the competition, and gain greater insights into the quality of candidates they were attracting.
